Green Square Logistics II/III warehouse built in a year in Aalsmeer

High-quality sustainable real estate

Necron Group is always up for a challenge. A year ago, the first pile for Green Square Logistics II-III was driven in Aalsmeer. In the summer of 2024, Bausch + Lomb and JAS Worldwide will receive the keys to the new BREEAM Excellent sustainable logistics centre.

The future-proof centre will become the Bausch + Lomb European headquarters. It includes offices, work floors and production and distribution areas. At this future-proof location, both companies will be able to expand.

Workers at this contemporary logistics centre will also be able to enjoy the benefits the building’s location brings to the table. The Green Square Business Campus, Aalsmeer, is a development project that aims to provide an innovative and climate-proof environment for life science and health companies. All this is within a stone’s throw of Schiphol and Amsterdam.

The distribution centre is 39,788 m2 and has a green roof the size of six football pitches. It was developed by Necron Group AG and Dutch City Development (DCD), designed by Sec.architecten and built by Aan de Stegge Twello, in cooperation with others.

Necron Group is proud to be a driving force in the shift to high-quality sustainable real estate. The centre features a highly efficient energy system, 5,635 solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations. Our efforts to develop a green distribution and office building have been rewarded with a BREEAM Excellent certification.

Necron Group  cares about people and our planet. That’s why we plant trees to offset the impact of our activities, starting with 10,000 trees for the logistics centre in Aalsmeer. To do this, we work with Trees for All, a Dutch foundation that aims to improve climate and living conditions worldwide by planting trees.
