Construction underway for new logistics centre at Dutch Fresh Port Ridderkerk
Construction officially began at Dutch Fresh Port on Bakker Barendrecht’s new fresh produce centre, marking a key milestone for this built-to-suit development. Necron Group has acquired the project turn-key from Borghese Logistics and looks forward to its completion.
The construction on this logistics centre is the third development at Dutch Fresh Port, Nieuw Reijerwaard. This brings the total area Necron Group has developed (or is developing) to approximately 160,000 m².
A project of this scale relies on strong partnerships. Bessels Architecten & Ingenieurs designed the building, Pleijsier Bouw is bringing it to life, and Borghese Logistics is overseeing project management, supported by Oostelbos Van den Berg. Necron Group receives technical consultancy from Drees & Sommer Netherlands. Completion is scheduled for early 2026.
