Head of Business Affairs
Chris de Wal
Chris de Wal is head of business affairs at Necron Group. Working across Zug, Luxembourg, and Amsterdam, he focuses on optimising the positioning and financing of real estate developments and standing investments.
From law to business leadership
Chris started his career as legal counsel at Shell, working on financing transactions. He then moved into senior legal and compliance roles in real estate and hospitality, including positions at Atrium Group Services (now G City Europe) and Xcentric Hotels. An MBA at Nyenrode Business University added business acumen to his legal foundation in finance and securities from the Grotius Academie.
Connecting the dots
At Necron Group, Chris works at the intersection of real estate, capital structuring, and financial innovation, from portfolio strategy and capital raising to emerging areas such as digital securities and real estate tokenisation. It is work that calls for imagination: seeing how different disciplines connect and finding solutions where others see complexity.
