Heiner Kropp supports Necron Group’s international expansion, especially the German market. As head of acquisition and project captain, he draws on roughly 40 years of real estate experience across Europe and Canada.

From brownfield to new ground

Heiner holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Hamburg. His career has taken him through the full spectrum of real estate development, from concept and due diligence to construction, financing, and asset management. He has worked for developers, insurance companies, and international investors. Since 2000, he has been specialising in converting contaminated waterfront brownfields into new residential and commercial areas.

Built to last

What drives Heiner is the knowledge that the projects he works on will remain in operation for decades. That awareness sharpens his focus on environmental responsibility. He is personally involved in the development of biological soil remediation methods, resource-efficient building materials, and innovative approaches to reducing groundwater and ocean pollution. Wind in the sails

Outside work, Heiner spends his time with his wife, daughter, and their dog. He travels when he can, and sails whenever the wind allows, a passion he has held since childhood.
